High-quality, open-back headphones are generally preferred for ACRN because they allow for a more natural "hall effect" and spatial awareness. However, any high-quality headphones or speakers that can accurately reproduce frequencies up to 12kHz will work.

For active therapy (Rescue or Focus), we recommend 2 to 4 hours per day. You don't need to listen all at once; you can break it into sessions of 30–60 minutes. For long-term habituation, many users find success playing the "Habituation" soundscape at a low volume throughout the night.

ACRN is a marathon, not a sprint. While some users feel immediate "Rescue" relief, clinical studies show that significant neural changes typically occur after 3 to 6 months of consistent daily use.
Safety first. The volume should be set at a "mixing" level, meaning the sound should be just loud enough to blend with your tinnitus, but not completely drown it out. Never listen at high volumes, as this can cause further hearing strain.
Precision is key. MP3 files use "lossy" compression that can distort the exact frequencies of your therapeutic tones and the notch. We provide Lossless WAV files to ensure your brain receives the exact mathematical frequency it needs for healing.
Don’t worry. Remember that for privacy and security, our system automatically deletes your personalized files 24 hours after purchase. While the automated link expires to protect your privacy, we can manually initiate a new generation within 7 days of purchase. To ensure the integrity of your data and prevent unauthorized access, the link is automatically deactivated after 24 hours. We recommend saving your file to a secure location (such as a cloud drive or external hard drive) immediately after purchase.
Each order is a unique rendering of a specific Protocol. If you wish to apply a different frequency to an Auditory Environment, a new calibration and rendering process is required.
